Description-
Design, Implement and Support VMware Infrastructure

Hands-on experience implementing, administrating and troubleshooting Servers

  • VMware vSphere, Horizon administration
  • Knowledge of vSphere VSwitch ,Vcenter,Vmotion, VLANS
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP and network topologies
  • Understand Enterprise Operations Process, ITIL
  • VCP certification preferred.
Understanding of SAN administration and concepts

  • Performs the system administration tasks of high complexity on VMWare environment
  • Installs, tests, tunes, maintains, designs and documents supporting systems, utility programs, monitoring tools, etc.
  • Performs a variety of maintenance tasks associated with the support, modification, and updating of the system software to include system software installations, upgrades, tests, troubleshooting and fixes.
  • Creates and manages capacity and trending reports of system operations.
  • Provide system infrastructure engineering support for new projects & deployments within the Enterprise Campus(s). Engagement to support projects, including break-fix, configuration, coordination, planning and implementation within the agreed timelines.
  • Ensure proper documentation of new infrastructure deployments and decommissioning of old devices
  • Managing regular system administration & monitoring server infrastructure. Support the 24x7 operation of infrastructures operation. Identify system performance issues and oversee the development and correct use of tools to resolve these problems.
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, configuration management oversight and change management guidelines
  • Support the 24x7 operations and Data Centre connectivity within the desired SLA
  • Resolve Incidents and problems, work with Helpdesk, internal Field Services and other infrastructure teams on incident resolution. Resolution and handling of network/hardware/software incidents/problem with root cause analysis. 11. Interfacing with service partners and maintenance sources; quality control for externally provided services. Coordination with vendor technicians.
