Description

A water treatment service engineer is responsible for design understanding, installing, and maintaining water treatment systems used in industrial, commercial, and residential settings.

• Installation of various water treatment systems like WTP, STP, ETP etc. to meet the specific needs of clients
• Conducting site surveys to assess the feasibility of water treatment system installations
• Developing and implementing project plans, including timelines.
• Overseeing the installation and commissioning of water treatment systems
• Providing technical support and guidance to clients on water treatment system operation and maintenance
• Developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance of water treatment systems
• Conducting regular inspections and testing of water treatment systems to identify and diagnose problems
• Maintenance, Troubleshooting and repairing water treatment systems as needed
• Providing training to clients on water treatment system operation and maintenance
• Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including service reports, inventory, and maintenance schedules
• Staying up-to-date with advancements in water treatment technology and industry best practices

To be successful in this role, a water treatment service engineer should have a strong technical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

They should also possess excellent communication and customer service skills, as they will be required to interact with clients and other professionals on a regular basis.

Additionally, they should be comfortable working in a variety of settings, including factories, commercial buildings, and private residences, and have a good understanding of safety procedures and protocols when working with potentially hazardous chemicals and equipment.
