Description
The HVAC BIM Modeller will be responsiblefor creating detailed Building Information Models (BIM) for HeatingVentilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems.
This role involvescollaborating with design and engineering teams to produce accurateand efficient 3D models that facilitate the planning andimplementation of HVAC projects.
The ideal candidate possessesexpertise in BIM software a strong understanding of HVAC systemsand attention to detail. 1. Generate 3D BIMmodels of HVAC systems using specialized software (e.g. RevitAutoCAD MICROSTATION E3D). 2. Collaboratewith HVAC engineers architects and other stakeholders toincorporate design specifications into BIM models.3. Ensure accuracy and completeness of BIM modelsconsidering spatial requirements system components and constructionconstraints. 4. Review and interpret designdrawings specifications and other projectdocumentation. 5. Coordinate with otherdisciplines (electrical plumbing etc.) to integrate HVAC systemsinto comprehensive building models. 6.Assist in clash detection and resolution to identify and addressconflicts in the BIM environment. 7. Stayinformed about industry standards best practices and emergingtechnologies related to BIM in HVAC. 8.Collaborate with project managers to meet project deadlines andmilestones.Requirements:1. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relatedfield. 2. 4 to 8 years experience as a BIMModeller with a focus on HVAC systems. 3.Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit AutoCAD MICROSTATION E3Dor similar tools. 4. Strong understanding ofHVAC design principles components and systems.5. Attention to detail and the ability to produceaccurate and highquality BIM models. 6.Effective communication skills for collaboration within amultidisciplinary team. 7. Knowledge ofconstruction processes and coordination within the BIMenvironment. 8. Familiarity with industrystandards codes and regulations related to HVAC systems inBIM.
