    Role Overview :

    We are looking for a QA automation engineer to develop testing procedures for our software applications.

    This role entails analyzing the functionality of applications and creating automated tests to validate their performance.

    Responsibilities also include bug identification, database installation, and collaboration with the software design team.

    Responsibilities :
    • Write, design, and execute automated tests through scripts for running testing functions automatically;
    • Determine test scenario priorities and create plans for executing these scenarios;
    • Perform comprehensive integration testing to ensure consistent functionality across modules, services, and platforms.
    • Document automated processes including test plans, procedures, and cases;
    • Construct test automation frameworks; Propose/Implement framework enhancements for scripting needs
    • Work with product managers and developers to grasp application requirements and ensure effective testing.
    • Engage in team discussions, offering feedback on testing practices and processes.
    • Detail and document bugs/defects clearly for easy understanding and resolution.
    • Regularly report on QA activities and product quality, highlighting any concerns.
    • Advocate for feedback mechanisms to refine development and QA processes.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
    • Proficient in Appium for mobile testing, Selenium for web testing, and Postman or REST Assured for API testing.
    • Proficiency in building automation frameworks from scratch.
    • Experience with integration testing and relevant tools/frameworks.
    • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
    • Advanced programming skills, including automation systems and databases.
    • Analytical skills for addressing bug reports, test prioritization, and enhancing application functions through automated testing.
    Good to have :
    • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or CircleCI.
    • Knowledge of Docker and containerized testing environments.
    • API testing experience, especially with or other frameworks.
    • Familiarity with frontend and mobile testing tools for React and React Native, including Cypress, React Testing Library, and Espresso.
    • Experience with mobile device emulators and physical device testing for React Native.
