    PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    • Manage safety assurance activities in CBTC Signalling Projects
    • Ensure delivery of safe solutions

    • Signalling Safety organization
    • Project Engineering (Digital & Integrated Systems)

    REPORTING

    • Direct: Safety Assurance Manager & Safety Lead for Projects
    • Others: Regional Center Safety Manager
    • Direct Reports: Safety Assurance Engineers

    NETWORK & LINKS

    Internal

    • Project Core team, Engineering Metiers, Quality & Internal Safety Assessors, RAM, Cybersecurity teams, Tender teams, Signaling Safety network

    External

    • Customers, Operators, Safety Authorities, Independent Safety Assessors, Consultants, Suppliers

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

    Key Accountabilities

    • Coordinate Safety Assurance activities for CBTC Systems
    • Perform Safety analysis, manage Hazard Log, define safety plan
    • Support tenders and integrate product/system in projects
    • Build Safety Reports and Cases
    • Apply safety assurance methodologies defined
    • Organize periodic Safety Reviews
    • Manage Safety Assurance Engineers
    • Lead Safety Issue management if required

    Main Required Competences

    Educational Requirements

    • Mandatory: Advanced University or Engineering degree, English proficiency
    • Desirable: System, Electrical, Electronics, Electromechanical engineering knowledge

    Experience

    • Mandatory: Proficiency in Cenelec Standards for Safety, 5 years in safety assurance including 2 years in Railway business
    • Desirable: Management experience
