Summary
Understand medical grade and above water treatment product functionalities, lab infrastructure, test equipment, consumables and other materials required to perform product testing at system and sub-system level, develop, procure and manage the lab infrastructure and inventory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand the product functionalities and requirements.
- Understand and identify the test equipment, test setups required to perform system and sub system level testing. Develop / procure the equipment / test setup, Validate, and manage them.
- Identify the materials required for testing, procure, and manage them.
- Support system and sub system teams in performing testing activities by issuing the devices, performing upgrades, updates and maintaining the configuration records.
- Debug, Service and repair the devices and always ensure device availability to all the teams.
- Identify, procure, and manage lab inventory.
- Work on improving the lab procedures and ensure the lab process is complied with by the team members.
- Adhere to Baxter Quality Management system and support audits and external inspections as applicable. Own any lab nonconformances and close them.
- Interact with external vendors for procurement, external testing etc.
- Expertise in Water treatment, Reverse Osmosis, Diffusion techniques.
- Expertise in testing Water Conductivity, Resistivity, Organic Compound levels, Total Organic Carbon, Biological Contamination etc.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Bio-Medical Engineering or related field.
Professional Experience:
- 4 to 6 yrs of experience in Water and Chemical Testing
- Water treatment plant and Water Lab Management
