Job Title - Business Architect

Location - Pune

Role Description


The Business Architect (BArch) focuses on assessing, improving and advising on our business capabilities which are supported by the underlying operating model (e.g.

processes, and technology).

The BArch is the critical link between strategy and execution as the BArch translates strategic initiatives into delivery-focused change initiatives.

To support this, the BArch creates artefacts such as business capability maps highlighting where improvements are required and how they relate to value chain, processes and IT systems.

The BArch sets the standards for capability and process management.

On an operational level, the BArch contributes to target process and solution design with a particular focus on holistic end2end perspectives.

Your Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of this senior role include:

  • Contribute to target solution design with a particular focus on seamless & efficient e2e processes, optimal & efficient data usage and alignment to target architecture
  • Support strategic planning, identify and manage dependencies
  • Own, govern and improve business capabilities
  • Conceptualize & break down strategic objectives to capabilities, value streams, processes and systems across Tribe Domains, Tribes & Squads
  • Own, govern and improve framework for business process management
  • Develop a view on strategic target states for capabilities and processes
  • Key focus areas are client lifecycle management (e.g. client onboarding & KYC review) and global regulatory initiatives (e.g. ESG, transaction monitoring, consumer protection)

Your Skills and Experience

  • The ability to break down and visualize complex business strategies and requirements into capabilities and processes
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good sense for feasibility and complexity of potential solutions / target processes
  • Broad understanding of a Wealth Managers organizational, procedural and technological setup, particularly in client lifecycle management and global regulatory framework
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively at all levels of the organization (written, verbal, visual)
  • Strong team player with highest personal drive and a high degree of intrinsic motivation
  • Experience with Business Process Modelling, ideally in Adonis beneficial
  • Language skills: very good English, additional languages beneficial
