About the department

  • Global DD&IT India was established in February 2010 as an integral part of Global DD&IT in HQ. From the beginning in 2010, the unit has grown to 900+ employees till date. The main role of Global DD&IT India is to 'manage' IT, which includes System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management and Vendor Management.
  • Commercial DD&IT department is an integral part of the Global DD&IT Organization within GBS India and is responsible for delivering projects and managing systems for Sales, Marketing, Medical & Market Access teams. We drive projects, manage critical IT systems, services and infrastructure used along the entire value chain of Novo Nordisk.
    The position
  • As a Data Analyst at Novo Nordisk, you will be responsible for:
  • Interacting with the business stakeholders, project, and platform teams to enable growth and support our field and back-office users in International Operations & IO Commercial Affairs and Strategy (IO CAS) and IO Clinical, Medical & Regulatory (CMR).
  • Responsible for building highly reliable services on managing and transformations on data from various structured and unstructured data sources and act as liaison to bring end user up to speed wherever applicable.
  • Understand business issues, operating business rules, data and standard operating procedures and incorporate process changes in response to evolving business needs with developing and maintaining KPI s and Metrics to measure the operational performance.
  • Strive for continuous automation of business processes (using Alteryx, VBA, Power Apps, Power Automate other appropriate tools etc.) while working closely with the aim of decreasing effort, improving quality and value.
  • Develop strong understanding of processes, data, tools and technology to effectively articulate requirements and provide project updates and participate in activities related to implementation and enhancements.

Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, mathematics, or related field.

  • Should have 2+ years of connecting data to business decisions while translating insights into recommendations.
  • Should have 2+ years of data mining and visualising expertise (preferably in Tableau and Alteryx).
  • Strong Analytical and Data handling skills (combination of Alteryx, SQL preferred)
  • Experience of 23 years in Data, Data Transformations, building Data Models, visualizations and have worked with Data Engineering and Advanced Analytics teams.
  • Good knowledge in endto end Sales & Medical process and the data generated at each node.
  • Strong BI and Visualization skills (PBI & Tableau preferred)
  • Ready to learn and work with supporting analytical tools like Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, Power Apps and Power Automate.
