    Description

    Overview:

    The LabTechnician plays a crucial role in the scientific and medicalresearch field by performing various laboratory tasks andexperiments to support the research and development activities.This position is instrumental in ensuring the accuracy andefficiency of laboratory operations contributing to the overallsuccess of research projects andexperiments.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • Conducting variouslaboratory tests experiments andanalyses
    • Preparing specimens and samples fortesting and analysis
    • Operating and maintaininglaboratory equipment and instruments
    • Recordingand interpreting data and resultsaccurately
    • Following standard operatingprocedures (SOPs) and safetyprotocols
    • Assisting in the development andimprovement of laboratory techniques andprocedures
    • Collaborating with research teams tosupport ongoing projects
    • Ensuring compliancewith quality control and quality assurancestandards
    • Managing inventory of laboratorysupplies and reagents
    • Documenting andmaintaining accurate records of experiments andfindings
    • Troubleshooting and resolvingtechnical issues in thelaboratory
    • Participating in the calibration andvalidation of laboratory equipment
    • Contributingto the maintenance of a clean and organized laboratoryenvironment
    • Assisting in the training of newlaboratory personnel
    • Keeping updated with thelatest advancements and best practices in laboratorytechniques

    RequiredQualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in arelated scientific field such as biology chemistry orbiochemistry
    • Proven experience working in alaboratory setting preferably in a research or academicenvironment
    • Strong understanding of laboratoryprocedures and protocols
    • Proficiency in usingvarious laboratory equipment andinstruments
    • Ability to analyze and interpretscientific data accurately
    • Excellent attentionto detail and precision in conducting experiments andtests
    • Good organizational skills and theability to manage multiple tasksefficiently
    • Strong communication and teamworkabilities to collaborate with researchteams
    • Knowledge of safety procedures andguidelines in a laboratory setting
    • Ability totroubleshoot technical issues and perform routine maintenance onlaboratory equipment
    • Familiarity with qualitycontrol practices and documentation in alaboratory
    • Ability to work independently andfollow instructions closely
    • Proficiency incomputer applications for data analysis andrecordkeeping
    • Adherence to ethical standardsand integrity in scientificresearch
    • Understanding of regulatoryrequirements and compliance in laboratoryoperations
