You will be working as Procurement Specialist at global grade 13 and will be part of Electrification business Area for Smart Power division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Procurement & Logistics Manager and will be responsible for ensuring the implementation, maintenance and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the procurement function to support the businesses.

Your responsibilities

• Ensuring all relevant parties understand strategies and executing processes accordingly
• Securing full utilization of pro-supply global supplier relationship management platform according to relevant procedure
• Managing, planning and tracking of procurement activities, cost budgets, emerging country spending and savings forecasts
• Monitoring the supply chain management processes and activities. Pro-actively working to resolve issues related to procurement cost, quality and delivery
• Providing and maintaining standard terms in purchase contracts or terms and conditions in line with company directives and guidelines

Your background

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in supply chain management
• Knowledge on metals process, stamping, assembly along with cost breakdown model
• Knowledge on metal process manufacturing and other manufacturing process
• Should have knowledge on outsourcing activities and arrive at the labor cost for assembly
• Excellent communication with an ability to influence both internally and externally
