Job Description for Fashion Designer (with more than 2 years of experience) specializing in Bespoke Fashion:

Position:
Fashion Designer (Bespoke)

Experience:
Minimum 2 years in the fashion industry

Responsibilities:

Create unique and personalized designs for clients seeking bespoke fashion pieces.
Collaborate closely with clients to understand their preferences, style, and requirements.
Develop sketches, drawings, and digital renderings to visualize design concepts.
Source highquality materials, fabrics, and embellishments that align with the client's vision.
Construct and refine patterns to ensure a perfect fit and optimal aesthetics.
Oversee the entire production process, from fabric selection to final fitting, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship.
Provide expert advice to clients on fabric choices, color combinations, and design elements.
Present design concepts and prototypes to clients, incorporating their feedback and making necessary adjustments.
Prepare detailed quotations that outline the cost of materials, labor, and any additional services.
Manage direct client interactions with professionalism, addressing concerns and questions promptly.
Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and innovative techniques to enhance designs.
Collaborate with tailors, seamstresses, and other team members to execute designs flawlessly.
Maintain accurate records of design specifications, client preferences, and project timelines.
Uphold the brand's reputation for creating exquisite and exclusive bespoke fashion pieces.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field.
A strong portfolio showcasing diverse design skills and previous bespoke work.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite or other relevant tools.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective client interactions.
Detailoriented mindset with a keen eye for design aesthetics and quality.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with external partners.
Indepth knowledge of fabrics, têxtiles, sewing techniques, and garment construction.
Demonstrated ability to translate clients' ideas into unique, personalized fashion pieces.
NIFT, Pearl Academy students preferred.
