Regulatory Affairs Specialist - Fragrance &
Flavours Location:
Andheri East,

Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Expertise:
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of international and national regulations specific to the fragrance and flavour industry, including FDA, FSSAI, SEDEX, BRC, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000, GHS, REACH, and relevant EU food safety regulations like (EC) No 178/2002, (EC) No 852/2004, and (EC) No 1333/ Stay abreast of evolving regulations and proactively update internal processes to maintain compliance.
- Provide insightful guidance and training to internal teams on regulatory requirements.
Vendor Management:
- Manage vendor onboarding, meticulously completing vendor registration forms with accurate technical details.
- Maintain effective communication with vendors regarding compliance updates and requirements.
Documentation:
- Craft and maintain accurate Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Technical Data Sheets (TDS) for our products, adhering to regulatory guidelines.
- Manage and organize comprehensive records of all compliance documentation.
Product Safety:
- Conduct product safety assessments and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Respond to regulatory inquiries and audits with professionalism and accuracy.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies and industry associations to stay informed and advocate for the company's interests.
Project Management:
- Manage and track regulatory projects through their lifecycle, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
- Analyse and interpret complex regulatory data to identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies. Knowledge and Experience (Preferable):
- Prior experience in a regulatory affairs role within the fragrance and flavour industry.
- Proven record of accomplishment of success in managing and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
- Familiarity with organic standards and regulations in the F&F industry.
- Understanding of chemical safety principles and risk assessment methodologies.
- Experience with FCM regulations and food contact material compliance.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in science, Chemistry, or a related field, preferably with a focus on quality management or regulatory affairs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and relevant regulatory software.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
