As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a highly skilled Lab Chemist to join our team at our solvent plant located in
Burdwan, Memari, West Bengal.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Lab Chemist to join our team.

The Lab Chemist will be responsible for conducting various chemical analyses, maintaining quality control standards, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and non-routine chemical analyses of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using analytical instruments and techniques.
• Conduct quality control tests to ensure products meet specifications and standards.
• Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
• Document and interpret test results accurately, maintaining comprehensive records and reports.
• Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot process issues and improve product quality.
• Assist in the development and validation of new analytical methods.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations in the laboratory environment.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes relevant to the role.
• Participate in internal and external audits, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a laboratory environment, preferably in the chemical manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of analytical chemistry principles and techniques.
• Experience operating and maintaining analytical instruments such as GC, HPLC, FTIR, and UV-Vis spectrophotometers.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory requirements applicable to chemical laboratories.

Additional Information:

• This is a fulltime position based at our solvent plant in
  Burdwan, Memari, West Bengal.
• The Lab Chemist will report to the Laboratory Manager.
