Description

The production merchandiser plays a crucial role in coordinating and overseeing the production process from initial concept to final product delivery.

They work closely with various teams such as design, sourcing, production, and quality assurance to ensure that products are manufactured efficiently and meet quality standards.

The primary responsibilities include managing timelines, communicating with suppliers, monitoring production progress, resolving any issues that may arise, and ensuring that production stays within budget constraints.

Additionally, the production merchandiser may be involved in negotiating pricing, sourcing materials, and evaluating supplier performance to optimize production processes.


Key Responsibilities:

Planning and Coordination:
Develop production schedules and timelines in coordination with design and production teams. Ensure timely delivery of materials and components necessary for production.

Supplier Management:
Source and evaluate suppliers based on factors such as quality, cost, and reliability. Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing and terms to ensure competitive advantage and adherence to budget constraints.

Quality Assurance:
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to establish and maintain quality standards for all products. Monitor production processes to identify and address any quality issues promptly.

Cost Management:
Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality. Negotiate pricing with suppliers and implement cost-saving measures where possible.

Communication:

Act as a liaison between different departments, including design, production, and sourcing, to ensure smooth coordination and execution of production plans.

Communicate regularly with suppliers to provide updates on production requirements and resolve any issues that may arise.

Problem Solving:
Proactively identify and address any challenges or issues that may impact production timelines or quality. Implement effective solutions to minimize disruptions and ensure timely delivery of products.

Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production schedules, inventory levels, and supplier communications. Generate regular reports on production progress, costs, and quality metrics for management review


Pay:
₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month


Schedule:

  • Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Performance bonus
  • Yearly bonus
