Are you ready to join our highly skilled and motivated team of experts?

We are now looking for a Project Engineer for Project Operations of Paper business line at our Gurgaon office.


Project Engineer will operate as the primary Valmet contact in the customer interface in the capital project and lead Valmet's project team.

You will be in charge of the following tasks in the capital projects:

customer negotiations and daily communication with customers, project scheduling and follow-up, project risk management, budgeting, cost estimation and invoicing, progress reporting internally and to customers, warranty time management and guarantee verification together with paper technology manager.

You also work with both internal and customer meetings. Your other key contacts are consult companies and Valmet's manufacturing units and procurement. An internal objective is to ensure the best possible project profit. The objective is to obtain as high customer satisfaction as possible.


Requirements:

To be successful in this job you need to have:

  • M.Sc (eng) or B.Sc (eng) degree in the mechanical, automation or paper field
  • Knowledge of paper making processes and equipment is required
  • Especially good knowledge of project management is appreciated
  • Result and goal oriented way of working
  • Willingness to travel
You also need to have good management and communication skills. It is important to have excellent negotiation and presentation skills due to big amount of customer connections. You are able to complete tasks independently but also work successfully as a team member.

Good written and oral communication skills in English are a must. Finnish, Swedish and/or German is seen as an advantage.
