About the role:

The Design Department at Trusted Media Brands is seeking an experienced Motion Designer to join the company's design team. This role demands a self-starter who can work independently, move quickly, and easily switch from project to project.

This is a chance to work with and learn from a team of seasoned and fast-moving designers in a fun environment.

This position reports to the Sr Art Director and is remote.

About you:

You are highly organized, detail-oriented problem solver. You love developing systems and structures but can adapt quickly to a changing media environment.

You may not be a designer but value the role design plays in the customer experience and consider yourself a creative thinker.

You have experience with digital assets management and project management software.

Your day-to-day:

Maintain and handle motion design requests for our Streaming and Social Brands.

Delivering final assets to the appropriate teams and stakeholders

Assisting in the design and build of show/channel identities and graphics packages, from the show open, transitions, and backgrounds to set and scenic design for Social and Streaming.
Work collaboratively across the team and other departments
Assist in creating graphic elements lowerthirds and other onscreen graphic elements for the various online programming and series
Incorporate revisions per feedback as appropriate, ensuring approved layouts conform to style guides
Contribute to creative brainstorms for various new initiatives

You have:

35+ years experience in a design role doing motion and still graphics for broadcast and digital media
Experience working knowledge of video, animation, mogrts, and interactive software, including but not limited to Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere
You have a strong digital design portfolio
You have meticulous attention to detail and overall product quality
Strong visual style and a thorough understanding of how typography, layout, color, images, and interactivity impact design
You have a solid understanding of broadcast design, including network and show graphics
You are knowledgeable in the production process (e.g., optimizing graphics, compression settings and file size, and image optimization)
