About the role

Role Title:
Assoc. Dir. DDIT Dev. TD RA

Location:

Role Purpose:

  • Senior Specialist for project delivery and/or operations in the given RA Publishing
  • Partner with Business Stakeholders and DDIT Strategic Business Partners for demand analysis, solution proposal/evaluation and project delivery
  • Directly contribute in the design, implementation and rollout of RA solutions and Collaborate with Business Users and Admins on future and current demand.
  • Keep current on Vendor and Health Authority roadmaps.
  • Ensure development runs smoothly, drive continuous process improvement, cooperate with various teams along the solution delivery value chain. Interact with all relevant stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery with standard designs in line with industry best practices. Usual stakeholders are Application Owners, Delivery Managers, Architecture teams, Data Scientists, DevOps, Security, Integration Factory, Infrastructure teams, Platform Support teams, ISRM team as well as Product Owners.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Execute technology delivery strategy for business systems, platforms and processes for a particular Business domain / Function. Partner with DDIT Strategic Business Partners for demand analysis solution proposal/evaluation and funding estimates for operations/ projects.
  • Partner with business partners to ensure Technology Service/Solutions Delivery teams deliver products according to strategy with reuse across other areas. Ensure on time within budget compliant secure and quality delivery of portfolio for responsible function / service area.
  • Ensure services solutions platforms products are fit for purpose and achieve the desired business value and impact. Run efficient DevOps for platforms, products, or systems ensuring availability and optimal performance for responsible function / service area.
  • Establish governance structure for projects, operations, etc. with right stakeholder representation.
  • Collaborate extensively with your colleagues across Security, Compliance, Engineering, Project Management, Product Management, Product Service Management and Business Management. Continue support for moving Publishing other RA platforms to the cloud.
  • Ensure delivered solutions adhere to architectural and development standards, best practices, and meet requirements as recommended in the architecture handbook. Ensure designed solutions are aligned with Data and Analytics strategy standards and roadmap. Bring innovations to the solutions and add measurable values to RA Business.

Role Requirements

Essential Requirements:
Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a computer science, engineering or information technology discipline.
Experience

  • 15+ years of experience in IT technology development experience, preferably with 5+ years of experience working with Pharma Regulatory affairs (RA) business.
  • 5+ years of experience with RA Publishing business.
  • Strong technical background with large scale projects on technology like , Oracle, MS SQL, IIS webserver, PowerShell or similar end to end technical solution delivery.
  • Experience in managing vendor and stakeholder expectations and driving technofunctional discussion. Ability to collaborate with business team (Regulatory Affairs) and technical team and drive the Submission & Publishing requirements for project.
  • Good experience on Publishing solutions like TRS, EFT and DMZ Gateway is preferred but not mandatory.
