    Aindra Systems is a technology company based in Bangalore Urban. Our mission is to democratize access to quality healthcare by developing affordable and accessible healthcare solutions. We leverage technologies like Artificial Intelligence to create smarter and more reliable systems that overcome the existing challenges of the healthcare industry. Our AI-based Computational Pathology platform, is designed to detect critical illnesses such as Cancer. Leveraging this, we have developed a point-of-care detection system called CervAstra for Cervical Cancer screening. We are extending this same platform for additional conditions like Prostate, Lung and Renal Cancers.

    Role Description

    This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Engineer at Aindra Systems with a work experience of 2-3 years. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for daily tasks related to machine design, computer-aided design (CAD), and project management. They will also contribute to research and development (R&D) efforts for the development of new healthcare solutions.

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining product and industry knowledge. You will work in a team-oriented environment that accelerates operational efficiency.

    Responsibilities

    • Generating detailed engineering designs based on concepts using CAD tool i.e. Solidworks
    • Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of the product
    • Suggest methods to improve operational efficiency
    • Work cross-functionally with different teams
    • Evaluate multiple manufacturing processes for metal and plastics
    • Interacting with suppliers to communicate Design requirements and coordinate with them to achieve desired quality output.
    • Ensure system and products' quality by designing testing methods;
    • testing finished product and system capabilities;
    • confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.

    Qualifications

    • 2-3 years of work experience in Mechanical Engineering
    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent
    • Ability to read and understand designs and schematics
    • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) using Solidworks.
    • Engineering drawings with GD&T
    • Presenting technical information, Conceptualisation Skill.
    • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
    • Ability to multi-task, organise, and prioritise work
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
