    Our R&D division is growingglobally and we are looking for an experienced Senior MechanicalEngineer to join our dynamic team at the new R&D site inBangalore India.

    As a Senior Mechanical Engineeryou will be a key player in our India R&D team responsiblefor developing and enhancing SolarEdges nextgeneration solar energyproducts and technologies. Your expertise and leadership will playa vital role in shaping the mechanical design and optimization ofour solar power products ensuring their reliability performance andmanufacturability.

    What will you bedoing

    • Lead themechanical design and development of solar power products includinginverters power optimizers energy storage solutions and othercuttingedge technologies.
    • Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams including electrical engineers productmanagers and industrial designers to translate product requirementsinto innovative and feasible mechanicalsolutions.
    • Utilize advanced CAD tools to create3D models conduct simulations and validate designs to meet productperformance and compliance standards.
    • Performthorough analysis and testing of prototypes to assess mechanicalperformance identify potential issues and drive designimprovements.
    • Optimize designs for qualitymanufactureability testing assembly/automatic assembly reliabilityand costeffectiveness while adhering to projecttimelines.
    • Participate in design reviewsprovide technical guidance and mentor junior mechanical engineersto foster a culture of innovation and excellence within theteam.
    • Collaborate with suppliers andmanufacturing teams to ensure seamless transfer of designs fromR&D to production resolving any designrelated issues thatarise during the manufacturing process.
    • Supportthe product certification process by providing necessarydocumentation and technical inputs to comply with relevant safetyand regulatorystandards.

    Requirements :

    • Bachelors (B.E/B.Tech.) ormaster s(M.E./M.Tech.) degree in Mechanical Engineering or arelated field.
    • 5 years of experience inmechanical design and development preferably in the renewableenergy or power electronics industry.
    • Workingwith electronics hardware/product engineers to integrate thermalconsiderations during productdevelopment.
    • Conduct thermal analysis usinganalytical methods and/or simulations (CFD) for heat dissipation inPower electronics systems.
    • Product testing tovalidate CFD/analytical models.
    • Develop/managevendors for thermal components like heatsinks sheet metaletc.
    • Handson Experience with heat sinksdesign/testing enclosures etc. would bepreferable.
    • Experience in Thermal/FEAsimulations Softwares like Ansys etc. would bepreferable.
    • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g.SolidWorks AutoCAD) and experience with simulation tools forthermal stress and vibration analysis.
    • Strongknowledge of materials manufacturing processes (plastic extrusiondie casting and sheet metal) and assembly techniques for highvolumeproduction.
    • Demonstrated experience in leadingcomplex mechanical design projects from concept toproduction.
    • Familiarity with relevant industrystandards and regulations related to product design and safetycompliance.
    • Proven track record of meetingproject deadlines and delivering highqualityresults.
    • Experience with solar energy productsor power electronics design is an addedadvantage.
    • Excellent problemsolving skills andthe ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technicalissues.
    • Strong communication and interpersonalskills to work effectively in a crossfunctional teamenvironment.
    • Proven track record of deliveringhighquality power electronics designs from concept toproduction.
    • Resultsoriented mindset with afocus on achieving tangible and measurableresults.
