The centre would focus on augmenting AGCO's global IT and Digital capability and investment in high-quality technology, innovation, and R&D talent.

The teams will be an integral part of AGCO's global ecosystem.

They will work as part of a global cross-function and cross-cultural team, working together to deliver AGCO's purpose to provide Farmer-focused solutions to sustainably feed our world and our vision to be the Trusted partner for industry-leading, smart farming solutions.


Who We Are Looking For:

The Data Governance team is looking to fill a position. Responsibilities will include ensuring data management and governance (f.e. roles and responsibilities) mapping and optimizing processes and data flows, classifying data, developing data glossaries or dictionaries, managing data lineage, developing and implementing quality management.


What You Will Do:


  • Work with data stewards and collaborators to create and maintain our data catalog
  • Work with data owners on processes to enable and ensure data quality, evangelizing the importance of good data hygiene
  • Help drive away from a reactive to proactive data governance across the enterprise in managing data quality, privacy, security, and usage.
  • Serve as a point of contact for governance, metadata management and data quality
  • Creating, developing and maintaining standards & guidelines
  • User Story refinement in an agile environment
  • Work with data owners on processes to enable and ensure data quality, evangelizing the importance of good data hygiene
  • Manage and build workflows, rules, roles within our data quality solution
  • Perform routine data management activities like analysis, cleansing, and reporting for (meta)data
  • Define and develop rules, KPIs and metrics for data quality

What You Will Bring:

You are experienced in data management, data governance or data analysis.

You will be working with Product Owners, engineers, data stewards and other data management professionals to drive data governance and data quality.


  • Experience in Business and Software Analysis
  • Experience of 35 years in Data Governance
  • Data Governance awareness (or understanding of Data Governance and Data Management best practices)
  • Metadata management experience as a plus
  • Understanding of Data Architecture, Metadata, Data Lifecycle, Data Quality Standards and Logical Data Modelling
  • Knowledge of Data Governance tools is a plus, especially Informatica CDG / IDG or Axon
  • Knowledge of AWS services is a plus
