Job Title:
Catering Service Associate


Overview:


As a Catering Service Associate, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of catering events.

This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the catering team to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality service to clients.


Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning: Collaborate with clients to understand their catering needs, including menu selection, dietary restrictions, and event logistics.

Order Management: Assist in processing catering orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in delivery.

Menu Preparation: Help in the preparation of catering menus, including assembling platters, arranging food displays, and ensuring presentation standards are met.

Setup and Breakdown: Assist in the setup and breakdown of catering events, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and decorations according to client specifications.

Service Coordination: Work alongside catering staff to ensure smooth service during events, including food and beverage distribution, replenishment, and customer assistance.

Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, freshness, and presentation throughout the event.

Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, accommodating special requests, and resolving any issues that may arise during events.

Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels of catering supplies, including food, beverages, and serving utensils.

Sanitation and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures and cleanliness standards.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other catering team members to ensure seamless coordination and execution of events.


Requirements:


  • Previous 5 years of experience in catering, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Professional and presentable appearance.
  • MHM/BHM or equivalent; culinary or hospitality certification is a plus.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
₹30, ₹35,000.00 per month
