JOB PURPOSE

To be the key driver for Operation Eyesight India's engagement with people in shopping malls and corporate organisations, setting up kiosks in such places, as well reaching out to people on the streets to raise awareness about the organization's work and inspire them to become supporters, thus to achieve the organisation's mission to prevent blindness and restore sight.

The position is supported through the Grow Fund and will work closely with the Operation Eyesight India Team and report to the Resource Mobilization - Team Leader.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Implement the organisation's strategy related to increasing supporters and philanthropic revenue; and
Provide support to the team in enhancing the organisation's brand recognition and positioning Operation Eyesight as a dominant actor in the eye health sector.

ORGANIZATION
The position of
Resource Mobilization -
Associate reports to the
Resource Mobilization - Team Leader for day-to-day functional work.

There will be functional relationships with various positions/members in the organization,including the Advancement Team based in Calgary, Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

Achieving the targets by enrolling new supporters through prescribed products, reaching out to individuals in public places and business organisations.
Effectively and clearly communicating organisational objectives to people and prospective supporters.
Be responsible for achieving supporter acquisition targets set by the organisation through facetoface and telecalling initiatives.
Ensuring that the supporter's details are correctly filled in the prescribed formats and incorporated into the daily/weekly reports while adhering to the organization's datarelated policies and procedures.
Acting as an ambassador by representing the organisation in a responsible manner and adhering to the organization's Code of Conduct and related policies.
Maintaining required level of confidentiality on information related to Operation Eyesight and its supporters.
Other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

Compliances:

Ensure compliance with organization policies
Ensure compliance as per the fundraising protocols and norms set by the government
Have weekly update/plan communication with Resource Mobilization team on the progress of supportor prospecting and solicitation

WORKING CONDITIONS AND JOB REQUIREMENTS

Headquartered in Hyderabad
Travel to donor/project locations as required
Flexible working hours to accommodate head office working hours

Person - Eligibility Criteria

Experience_: At least one year of fundraising/sales experience
-
Qualifications_: Bachelor's degree from a reputed college or equivalent practical experience (mandatory).

Technical

Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi; regional language will be an asset
Ability to talk and listen to a wide range of people and build rapport with them
Willingness to work outdoors for long hours
A keen learner, willing to tackle challenges and work under pressure to achieve assigned targets
