- Lead the development and optimization of large language models to meet specific business requirements.
- Conduct research and experiments to improve the performance and efficiency of language models.
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to identify use cases and develop solutions.
- Design and implement algorithms and models for natural language understanding, generation, and processing.
- Evaluate and integrate third-party tools, libraries, and frameworks to enhance model capabilities.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in NLP, machine learning, and related fields.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional growth and development.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and present findings.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in developing and deploying large language models, preferably in a production environment.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Strong understanding of NLP techniques, including text preprocessing, tokenization, named entity recognition, sentiment analysis, etc.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and distributed computing environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Publications or contributions to the NLP/Machine Learning community are highly desirable.
