Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain various tools and machinery in the tool room, including Lathe Machine, Surface Grinder, and Milling Machine.
Demonstrate proficiency in setting up and operating machines to produce precision parts and tools.
Conduct routine maintenance on sheet metal tools to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with engineering and design teams to interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications for tooling requirements.
Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, making necessary adjustments to meet specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tool and machine performance.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Document and record maintenance activities, machine settings, and production data.
Assist in the development and improvement of tooling processes to enhance efficiency.

Key Skills:

Proficient in operating Lathe Machine, Surface Grinder, and Milling Machine.
Knowledgeable in the maintenance of sheet metal tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications.
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Adherence to safety guidelines and practices.
Familiarity with tool room equipment and machining processes.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical stamina and dexterity for prolonged periods of standing and operating machinery.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a Tool Room Operator or similar role.
Technical training or certification in machining or tool and die making is a plus.
