    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Data Strategy and Governance
    Develop and implement the data strategy and roadmap aligned with the organisation's overall business goals and objectives
    Define data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and regulatory compliance
    Establish data standards, best practices, and guidelines to promote consistent and reliable data management across the organization

    • Data Engineering and Infrastructure
    Work with data engineers to design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data infrastructure, including data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes
    Optimize data engineering processes and technologies to streamline data ingestion, processing, and storage
    Ensure data availability, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle, collaborating with IT and security teams as needed

    • Data Science and Analytics
    Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify data-driven opportunities and define analytical projects to drive business growth and efficiency
    Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of advanced analytics models, algorithms, and data-driven solutions
    Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and interpretability of analytical outputs, facilitating data-driven decision-making across the organisation

    Qualification
    Relocate to Vietnam
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related fiel
    Proven experience in a leadership role within a data-driven organization, preferably in the retail industry
    Strong understanding of data science and machine learning concepts, techniques, and best practice
    Proficiency in data engineering technologies and tools, such as SQL, Python, ETL frameworks, and cloud-based data solution
    Experience in managing and coordinating the work of data scientists and data engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture
    In-depth knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data management principle
    Familiarity with retail industry data and understanding of retail-specific data challenges and opportunities
    Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a strategic mindset
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
