Skills Required:

He/She should have knowledge on ESD or F&G or High Integrity Pressure Protection Systems (HIPPS) or BMS Systems. He/She should preferably be TuV Certified for Functional Safety Engineer.

He/She should have knowledge and hands on Experience on DCS Systems, its communication interfaces etc.

He should be able to differentiate between a Process Safety and Process Control Requirement.


He/ she should have sound knowledge of different communication protocols for third party interfaces and for field device integration such as HART, Profisafe etc.

He / She should have good working experience in product testing. experience in test automation tools like Python, Selenium etc will be added advantage.

Exposure to Test and Requirement Management Tools such as Quality Center, Jama, ReqPro would be an advantage

Should have a Strong Logical reasoning and Analytical skills.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • He / She would be responsible for creating test plans, test procedures as per the product requirements and should ensure full coverage. He / She is responsible for test environments that almost replicates customer network environments.
  • He / She will be responsible for Independent Test Execution of various Functionalities and Features of the product
  • He/She will be responsible for independently Setting up the Test Environments and develop Traps to capture defects
  • He / She will be responsible for review of Architecture and design and can design test strategies to cover non-functional requirements in the program.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors in Instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 48 years' experience in the Industrial Process Control specifically in the areas of Industrial Process Safety as in Emergency Shutdown, Fire & Gas and Burner Management Systems
