Radiation Safety:

  • To proactively support the organisation in achieving the necessary AERB submissions needed for targeted market areas.
  • Developing and maintaining RSSG knowledge required in the country for Elekta's business need. Preparing.,submitting country submissions / type approvals and similar regulatory submissions in India BU
  • Maintaining knowledge of the authority's (AERB) approval system and developing working relationship well with local experts in Elekta Business Unit.
  • Arrange/responsible for type approval & witness testing in the country for imported products. Developing and maintaining AERB knowledge.
  • Be the Elekta expert for the product registration with AERB in India BU.
  • To assist the functional managers to deploy and implement in India BU the QMS & Global Radiation Safety Directives / requiremen\s within the organization.
  • Monitor whether the hospital has a NOC for import of LGK/ HDR/Linac / Radioactive source etc. that are being imported in India.
  • Customer related activities in eLORA like Institute registration,Site & layout Submission, NOC related & other queries like model change, energy change, bunker modification.
  • Support Internal Stake holders in multiple functional lines as below

Order Fulfilment:

  • RA consents for all Phase1, Phase2, Brachy first source loading, decomissioning of Linac,HDR, LGK etc
  • Shipping consents, Survey consents,shielding calculations to be done

Service:

  • SRE License book renewal ,Calibration / maintaining certificates, Coordinating for Engineer training & certification, TLD Issuing and maintaining the records & Radiation Safety related training, internal training followups
  • Incident Reporting, Radiation Exposure, FCO/FSN related & QMS related activities by closely working with RSSG.

AERB Reports:

  • Biannual Reports for Linac, Brachy, Transit Storage,X-Ray tubes,Auditing the report file.
  • Type approval activities & its renewal periodically,Travel for Type tests, Survey tests & Monthly visit to Transit storage.
Clinical Applications Support management

  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with software and hardware interfaces, including DICOM connectivity and transfer.
  • Familiarity with the all Microsoft server/workstation operating systems, Citrix, Linux
  • Works on "complex problems" where analysis of situations or data requires indepth evaluation of various factors.
  • Liaise with other members of the Software team/Clinical physicist team to address any existing Customer concerns promptly & effectively.
  • Focus and execution closure on FCO related to TPS, Mosaiq and Imaging systems on clinical and work closely with field team and the customers.
  • Participate actively in the support and training of new staff and others as required.
  • In-

House Training:
Prepare for and deliver assigned courses. Document continuing education credits following written procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Familiarity/proficiency with the following: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Webex & Salesforce
  • Familiarity with curriculum development process and educational methodology
  • Working knowledge/understanding of all Elekta software products and proficiency in assigned product specialties
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills (ability to communicate effectively to a group)
  • Ability to effectively interact with customers (via phone and facetoface)
  • Expected to travel up to 30% (approx.)
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • RSO Level III certified Medical Physicist with Approved Degree or equivalent with 35 years working experience as RSO in radiation therapy segment and customer support experience in a related field.
  • Experience with Elekta products.
  • Ability to work in multicultural environment and appropriate linguistic skills.
  • Professional integrity and ability to interpret, adapt & provide guidance on RA.
