    Description

    Global Accounting Controllers (GAC) is a crucial part of Oracle's Global Controllers Organization. This forward-thinking and creative team consists of a diverse group of finance professionals responsible for Oracle's US GAAP Accounting and Reporting.

    Role:

    • Perform activities to assist accurate and timely book closure for assigned countries
    • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve outstanding items for accurate financial statements
    • Support various reporting requirements

    The ideal candidate should have a B'COM degree with CA/CMA/ACCA certification and 3 to 6 years of experience in Accounting and Finance.

    Key Activities:

    • Month/Quarter close activities
    • Balance Sheet account reconciliations
    • Audit support
    • Lead/Participate in Global Projects
    • Test process changes due to system upgrades
    • Contribution to process/reconciliation improvements
    • Partner with global teams for a unified approach to Close Management and Global Reporting
    • Work with a team to analyze key operational activities and identify more effective delivery mechanisms using Cloud technology and automation
    • Train New Joiners
    • Act as a SPOC for regional/country-specific projects/troubleshooting

    Career Level - IC3

    As a member of the finance division, you will assist in accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and inter-company transactions. Maintain the general ledger by preparing journal entries, conducting analysis, reconciliation, and reporting. Implement general accounting systems, conduct periodic account reconciliations, ledger closure activities, and provide accurate financial data for decision-making. Develop financial reports such as profit and loss, income, and balance sheet statements. Review inter-company transactions, ensure journal entries comply with audit specifications, and contribute to internal procedures and processes' development. You may also participate in special projects.
