About The Role


WeWork is looking for a Senior Art Graphics Project Management Associate with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience to manage the internal A&G team and coordinate with the external teams to define and execute environmental graphics and art installations for our WeWork interior spaces.

This individual shall work within the Physical group comprising a unit of artists/graphic designers, logistics leads, and construction leads, to ensure that the art in projects is delivered on time, on budget and achieving high standards of Quality.

This individual shall be responsible for the project from the moment the space's layout has been finalized through the opening and handoff to facilities.

The Project Management Associate will be responsible for multiple projects at a time in various different stages and shall be able to work in a fast pace environment.

This individual shall have experience at various stages of development.


You will be assisting in the production and management of everything from Art production to vendor coordination and onsite coordination with external parties.

You will assist in managing relationships with vendors and manufacturers, ensuring the ordering and organization of materials and samples, and interfacing with freelancers and artists.

A basic understanding of the construction industry is crucial too.

Responsibilities

  • Reports to the Head of Art & Graphics, while working with the regional Art & Graphics Lead, to understand the scope of work in terms of execution, production, quality control and site delivery for the overall design intent for each space
  • Project intake, delegation, and resourcing
  • Budget tracking & management (should be collaborative with A&G Lead)
  • Overall quality, budget and schedule for the project
  • Coordination of team travel
  • Project tracking & timeline management
  • Vendor management (sourcing, vetting, submitting orders, coordinating & tracking shipments, following up on payments with procurement, new vendor research, etc.)
  • Assist in the installation of graphic and art projects — whether that be hand painting, assisting team members, or finding the right vendor or local artist
  • Studio management (maintaining supplies, ordering canvases, managing packing & shipping of artwork, etc.)

Qualifications and requirements:


  • Basic understanding of construction Drawings and fitouts
  • Strong interest in interior design, art, and installation design
  • Clearly demonstrate leadership characteristics
