Job Purpose and Impact


The Cybersecurity Incident Response Advisor will provide expert thought leadership and technical guidance on highly complex activities to protect the organization globally.

In this role, you will research, identify, and leverage processes for responding to highly complex security threats facing the organization, guide malware prevention and detection process, ensure cyber incident remediation and partner with key teams and stakeholders to proactively identify threat actors, settle security posture and strengthen defenses.

Key Accountabilities


Collaborate with the key team on the research and investigation of highly complex threat actors to stay ahead of active and emerging threat patterns.

Research and remain current on technology trends used across the organization to identify threats and potential threat vectors.
Nurture the use of threat intelligence and data across multiple sources to continuously refine protection and detection strategies.

Identify behavior patterns to prevent security control bypass and other activities that place the organization's information and systems at risk.

Partner collaboratively across teams focused on leading cybersecurity risk for the organization.

Guide the development and execution of malware reverse engineer and relevant analysis to support malware prevention and detection capabilities globally.

Provide technical guidance and oversight of the execution of incident response processes to ensure appropriate actions are taken to investigate, contain and remediate cyber incidents globally.

Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems.

You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of six years of related work experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working on a Cyber Security Incident Response team in a highly complex global environment
Produce highly complex reports and briefs for management to provide an accurate depiction of the current threat landscape and associated risks
Experience performing malware reverse engineering
Experience performing in-memory analysis and investigation
Experience conducting incident response in a large complex global environment
Experience scripting leveraging the Python language
