Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics Operations Management:
Coordinate and manage the end-to-end logistics operations, including procurement, inventory management, transportation, and distribution.

Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and shipping carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.

Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize logistics processes.

Warehouse Management:

Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient storage, organization, and handling of inventory.

Develop and implement warehouse processes and systems to improve productivity, accuracy, and safety.

Conduct regular inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation to maintain accurate stock levels.

Inventory Control:

Implement inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.

Utilize inventory management systems to track and monitor stock movements, stock accuracy, and replenishment needs.

Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment and accurate forecasting based on demand trends.

Order Fulfilment:

Coordinate the order fulfilment process, including picking, packing, and shipping of products to customers.

Monitor order status, address any issues or delays, and provide timely updates to customers and internal stakeholders.

Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve order-related inquiries and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Team Leadership and Training:

Lead and supervise a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.

Conduct regular team meetings, provide guidance, and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.

Health and Safety Compliance:

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment in the warehouse.

Conduct regular safety inspections, address any potential hazards, and promote a culture of safety awareness among the team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.

Proven experience (X years) in logistics and warehouse management, preferably in the e-commerce industry.

Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.

Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software for inventory tracking and logistics planning.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills for effectively managing a team and building relationships with stakeholders.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively.

Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to warehouse operations.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Salary:
₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
