Roles and Responsibilities:
- Administer servers, desktop computers, laptops, Voice, printers, Antivirus, switches, firewalls, software deployment, security updates and patches.
- Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Voice, Internet, and intranet systems.
- Troubleshoot problems reported through helpdesk tickets by US users
- Maintaining Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS in a complex environment.
- Oversee the safeguarding of company assets, intellectual property and computer systems, as well as their physical safety from employees and others
- Monitor network communication
- Implement the policies for the use of the computer system and network for both US and India
- Monitor and support IP network changes, VPN and other links between data centres, ISP carriers and clients.
- Work with wired and wireless data network providers to debug and resolve affecting service issues.
- Manage incident escalation and effective resolution. Support root cause investigations for outages and ensure incident logs are maintained and current.
- Follow and participate in the improvement of ISO27001 policies and procedures.
- Document and perform changes to fulfil any change requests.
- Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.
- Ensure compatibility and interoperability of inhouse computing systems.
- Coordinate and perform indepth tests, including enduser reviews, for modified and new systems.
- Monitor and test system performance; prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports.
- Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems.
- Collaborate with infrastructure team to ensure smooth and reliable operations of systems and software for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
- Work with executive team members and decision makers to define business requirements and to identify and resolve business systems issues. Position Requirements Knowledge & Experience
- Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with executive level. Impeccable attention to detail. Positive, energetic and empathic.
- Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using administrative function tools and communication vehicles to accomplish organization objectives: o Windows Server 2016 & above o Active Directory, DHCP, DNS o All Office Tools o Use of SharePoint, Agile management tools a plus
- Proven experience with systems planning, security principles, and general software management best practices.
- Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
- Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
- Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required.
- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and userfriendly language.
- Highly selfmotivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
- Proven analytical and creative problemsolving abilities.
- Able to prioritise and execute tasks in a highpressure environment.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work in a teamoriented, collaborative environment.
- Must be comfortable managing multiple projects and daytoday activities
- Prior support experience with US based users will be an added advantage.
- Bachelor's degree, technical degree with equivalent work experience, education/training, etc.
- 5+ years of handson experience as a System administrator.
- Timings:
- Primary Support will be UK/US shift hours
