Position Summary
The Plant Finance Head will be responsible for the integrity of financial reporting for the
Sohna plant. This Includes ensuring proper internal controls, reporting of financial results,
compliance/ Governances and remediation of any identified issues.
Set strategic direction:
Align resources around initiatives; leadership: interface with
operations, Production, supply chain, procurement:
interpretation and reporting of
Profitability; risk assessment; cost analysis / reduction; capital spend, team and employee
development.
Provide and interpret unbiased, independent analysis of current and future business
scenarios to support and educate business leaders.
Responsibility
- Timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial reporting, including detailed analysis
Be a key member of the New Product Development team and provide with all financial data
with regard to capex and other expenditure during the floating of RFQ's.
Prepare various capital expenditure forecasts and keep track against the initial proposal.
Responsible for leading and preparation of the Annual Budget and Quarterly Latest View.
Preparation of customer requested Quarterly forecast in conjunction with the local
operations team.
Preparation of monthly P&L flash reports and KPI development. Ensure accurate update in a
timely manner prior to review call and investigation & discussion of variances.
As business partner you are the link between Operations and Finance. To attend
anyweeklyPlant Management meetings to provide support and give views from a financial
standpoint.
Data Analysis to understand business profile changes and effects on Revenue.
Be a key contact in the annual and interim financial audits.
Implement corporate policies and ensure compliance.
Maintain and improve financial communications with Corporate Office.
Ensure and Coordinate all Trainings and Talent development/ acquisition for the respective
department and be able to give a 360 degree feedback to the respective team and the
Management.
Other duties as assigned.
Technical Capabilities
Excellent analytical, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
Must possess the ability to be a lead financial expert to the Organization.
Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication (oral and written) skills
Possesses initiative, customer focus, and problem solving skills.
Ability to perform accurately under time constraints with strong attention to detail.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from senior
management. Must be able to meet deadlines.
Must be organized and detail oriented while still able to see the "big picture".
Skills:
Good Knowledge of SAP, MS Office, India GAAP, Recent changes in the statutory
Provisions.
Planning, Competitive Analysis,People Management.
This is normally acquired through a combination of the completion of MBA Finance/
ICWA with 8- 10 years or
CA with - 6 Years or
MBA with 10-15 Years.
Experience in Manufacturing Plant Accounts is Must.
Automotive Plastics will be preferred.
