Job Description:

Prudential Holding Gold Mining is seeking a skilled and experienced Excavator Mechanic to join our team in South Sudan.

As an Excavator Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the excavator fleet used in our gold mining operations.

Your role will contribute significantly to ensuring the smooth operation of our mining equipment.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on excavators to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues with excavators.
  • Conduct regular servicing of engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and other components.
  • Repair or replace damaged parts, components, and systems as needed.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and work performed.
  • Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team to prioritize tasks and maintain equipment availability.
  • Follow safety protocols and adhere to environmental regulations while performing maintenance and repair activities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure proper storage of tools and equipment.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior mechanics and equipment operators as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to report progress, issues, and solutions.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in heavy equipment mechanics is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an excavator mechanic, preferably in a mining or heavy equipment environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical systems relevant to excavators.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical strength and stamina to work in challenging conditions and lift heavy parts.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Understanding of safety procedures and willingness to adhere to them at all times.
  • Prior experience with gold mining equipment is a plus.

Salary:
Up to ₹58,000.00 per month
