Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Assistant to join our dynamic team in the interior industry.
The Purchase Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our procurement activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, equipment, and services.
This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with vendors and internal teams, and a keen eye for quality and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Vendor Management:
Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to terms and conditions.
Purchase Order Processing:
Generate and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
Track and monitor order statuses, ensuring on-time delivery of materials and services.
Sourcing and Cost Negotiation:
Identify potential suppliers, conduct market research, and obtain competitive quotes.
Negotiate terms and conditions to secure favorable pricing and delivery terms.
Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure adequate stock levels.
Implement strategies to optimize inventory turnover and reduce carrying costs.
Quality Assurance:
Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure received materials meet established standards.
Address any quality issues with suppliers promptly and effectively.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, contracts, and vendor agreements.
Generate reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and vendor performance.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical procurement practices.
Stay informed about market trends, new products, and industry developments.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Purchase Assistant, preferably in the interior industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Familiarity with procurement processes and best practices.
- Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of interior industry materials and suppliers is a plus.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the interior industry is advantageous.
Pay:
₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month
