Description

We are looking to hire a skilled VMC & CNC Programmer to operate and maintain our VMC & CNC lathe equipments.

As a VMC & CNC lathe Programmer, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting technical blueprints, inputting the design specifications, adjusting the machine cutting paths, and performing quality checks on the final product.

You may also be required to perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.


To ensure success as a VMC & CNC lathe Programmer, you should have extensive experience working in manufacturing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work unsupervised.

Ultimately, a top-class VMC & CNC lathe Programmer works quickly and efficiently, ensuring all products meet the specifications of the client.


VMC & CNC Programmer Responsibilities:


  • Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models.
  • Creating Programs through software the desired programs for different machines.
  • Loading raw materials and Job setting into the VMC & CNC lathe machine.
  • Inputting the product design into the computer modelling software.
  • Choosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job.
  • Adjusting machine settings to the desired product specifications.
  • Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process.
  • Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product.
  • Cleaning and maintaining the machine.
  • Training new staff on machine operation procedures.
  • Maintain accurate data/records/documentation associated with your work.
  • Carry out tasks within allotted time limits.
  • Contribute towards the smooth running of the team and machines.
  • Responsibly use resources and control expenses to meet agreed budgetary controls.
  • Adhere to all organisation policies and procedures.
  • You are responsible for your allocated workload and must meet all targets as agreed with your Line Manager. You must contribute towards the smooth running of the organisation generally.

Dexterity in:


  • Work holding strategies
  • FANUC and Mitsubishi controls
  • Engineering drawings

Hours of Work

Your usual hours will be from 8.30 am to 7 pm. However, you will be expected to work as and when necessary to meet the needs of the team and your targets.


Secondary Tasks and Duties


The role is part of the whole organisation team and as such requires you to perform such reasonable tasks that are required, as and when necessary, to maintain, promote, develop and expand the business of our organisation and its interests generally.


You must carry out your duties to the best of your ability, having consideration for the needs of your colleagues, the Organisation and its clients/customers.

You must obey all lawful and reasonable orders given to you and comply with the Organisation's rules, procedures and policies


VMC & CNC Programmer Requirements:


  • Bachelor Of engineering or Technology or higher.
  • Previous work experience as a VMC & CNC lathe Programmer.
  • Ability to read and interpret design blueprints.
  • Extensive experience with computer modelling software.
  • Ability to convert 2D into 3D model, drafting and assembly functions.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and stick to a deadline.
  • Ability to stand for xtended periods.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Ability to work afterhours when required.

  • Solid modelling

  • Assembly
  • Drafting &
  • Manufacturing
  • Machine Code Technology
  • Machine Code Usage
  • Macro programming Usage

Salary:
₹40, ₹50,000.00 per month
