Receptionist - Dietitian Clinic

Job Summary:


As a receptionist at our dietitian clinic, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth functioning of the clinic.

You will be the first point of contact for clients, responsible for managing appointments, addressing inquiries, and supporting administrative tasks to enhance the overall efficiency of the clinic.


Key Responsibilities:

Client Interaction:


  • Welcome clients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Provide information about clinic services, policies, and procedures.
  • Answer phone calls promptly and assist callers with inquiries or direct them to the appropriate staff.

Appointment Management:


  • Schedule and confirm client appointments using the clinic's scheduling system.
  • Coordinate with the dietitian to manage the appointment calendar effectively.
  • Ensure timely communication with clients regarding appointments and any necessary preparations.

Client Information Handling:


  • Collect and accurately record client information during checkin.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client records and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Update and verify client records as needed.

Administrative Support:


  • Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and information flow.
  • Handle billing tasks, process payments, and provide receipts to clients.

Clinic Operations:


  • Monitor and manage the waiting area to ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to address any operational issues promptly.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant education is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using office software and scheduling systems.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Understanding of confidentiality and privacy regulations in healthcare.

Salary:
₹12, ₹15,000.00 per month
