Job Summary
Manage end to end quality control of all incoming parts inspection for both mechanical &
- electronics parts. The role involves KPI to improve supplier quality performance based on
- their monthly performance, supplier manufacturing line to get ZERO defect parts for
- assemblies, effectively implement quality gates at the Incoming stage to filer all the defectives


Responsibilities:


  • Ensure all the parts coming to factory will be inspected and cleared for assembly lines
without ZERO Defect.- Create Receipt Inspection standards in line with Agreement of Inspection with

suppliers.- Ensure all the supplier supplies come with Supplier Pre-Delivery Inspection reports.

  • Plan and install required IMTEs at IQC lab to check all the parts.
  • Ensure the assembly line is running smoothly without any defects by ensuring the


defect free supplies / providing replacement with lowest turn-around time.- Ensure the stock available at factory stores are free from defects at all time.


  • Creating Supplier Performance Score card on monthly basis and circulate to all the
stakeholders.- Create the Supplier Quality Flash Reports (SQFR) inline with line complaints, field

complaints and Incoming Inspection complaints.- Ensure the SQFR is closed based on SLAs and drive suppliers to close the complaints

with robust countermeasures and actions.- Drive "SQM - Supplier Quality Manual requirements" implementation throughout the

development process- Good knowledge in interpreting the data received from assembly line / field and to

identify the errors / capable of conducting the in-depth RCA process to identify the root
- cause and propose corrective actions
  • Establish systems and processes for eliminating early failures of supplier parts in new
products and regular products and ensure the product quality is consistent and
- sustained in the long run.
  • Conduct Process and System audit at supplier works and ensure the supplier quality
Management Systems are in place to provide confident for Zero Defect supplies.- Establish the Agreement of Inspection, Receipt Inspection Standard, Supplier PDIR

before SOP for NPD and ECN Changes- Proficient in designing gauges / fixtures / equipments for the incoming inspection and

at supplier end to deliver defect free products.- Work closely with Engineering, Sourcing and other functions to resolve supplier

concerns in developing and manufacturing the products- Analyze and implement the Customer complaints, Warranty returns and ensure the

corrective actions on Supplier products and process are implemented on time and
- sustained.
  • Ensure 100% compliance to IATF 16949 QMS System on daily management activities
Experience &


Skills

  • 10 ~ 12 years experience in handling SQA / STA / SQE in an automotive organization
  • Technical expertise in developing Casting & Machining, Plastic and Rubber parts,
Proprietary parts, Fasteners, OTS parts etc.,- Preferably A Certified lead auditor for IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 QMS standard

  • Thorough knowledge on Quality tools and techniques, 8D, QC Story, DOE, 5Why,
FEMA, PPAP, Minitab experience, Reliability Engineering- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and their controls.

  • Target companies: Any EV Companies and 2w and 4w OEMs

Qualifications

  • BE Mechanical / Automobile with additional qualification in quality management
programs.

  • Diploma in Mech Engg working with reputed Automotive OEMs
