MAIN PURPOSE/FUNCTION OF JOB:

To Provide drafting/modeling support for projects and product related activities.


MAIN ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Prepare detailed layouts in Solid Works and AutoCAD based on inputs from Designers/ Analysts/ Project engineers.
  • Prepare detail drawings of assemblies, machined parts and weldments
  • Check interfaces and tolerances to ensure compliance with customer requirements
  • Create and maintain a library of standard parts, product models and drawings
  • Maintain an accurate record of the work performed in company timesheet regularly

Minimum Qualification:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering


EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 25 years of practical modeling and drafting experience in Engineering /Design / R & D / Product Development environment.
  • Manufacturing experience with an emphasis on design for manufacturability is desirable.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Should be highly proficient with AutoCAD and Solid Works (Part, Assembly, Weldment, Drawings modules)
  • Should have knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
  • Should have knowledge of manufacturing process including machining, welding and GD &T

Job Types:
Full-time, Regular / Permanent


Salary:
₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month
