SME- Master Data Steward

POSITION PURPOSE:

Data steward role is responsible for the management and proficiency of data stored in Masters. Administer the available data in compliance with defined process and regulatory obligations.


As Data Stewards, they need to build a more data-focused culture, share best practice trends in data use and advocate for the proper use of and attention to details.

Role needs to work in close collaboration with different teams, processes and centers across.


YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • The Data Steward is responsible for collecting, collating, and conducting assessment of accuracy of data and perform cleansing activity.
  • Work with teams to establish & implement process for detection and correction of dataquality issues.
  • Collaborate to establish & implement policies, procedures, documentation and internal controls affecting the quality of data.
  • Engage in ongoing and detailed evaluation of data quality.
  • Need to understand the root cause and implement corrective measures.
  • Collaborate to identify and implement improvement opportunities to make process more robust.
  • Optimize workflows and improved relationships with stakeholders.
  • Provides daytoday support to business operations within/outside of SSCDN
  • To ensure that quality of data meets the needs of both the line of business and of the organization.

WHO YOU ARE:


  • University Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or comparable professional education.
  • Solid/End to End knowledge of Master Data Management or Source to Pay process
  • Accounts Payable or Procurement Operations.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills, Self
  • Motivated
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and deliver results independently
  • Flexible to support Global operations/Stakeholders in different time zones.
  • Analytical, Logical reasoning and problem
- solving mindset

  • Very good Office 365 Skills, SAP ERP.
