Profile:

The Lead Analyst will drive the Analytics Department towards the benefit of the company as a whole.

Enabling data-driven decision-making across departments, the Lead Analyst will ensure smooth analytics operations, enhancement, and optimization of infrastructure capabilities, and identification of potential bottlenecks that may hamper the previously mentioned items.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Lead the Analytics team across their daily tasks and help resolve their bottlenecks.
Head the insight generation & strategizing front by formulating problem statements, gathering relevant data and inferences, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
Manage, prioritize and delegate the ad hoc and daily data requests coming from across the departments.
Partner with the Data Engineering team on ensuring the stability and scalability of the Analytics Infrastructure.
Work towards ensuring minimum data latency.
Plan and drive the execution of monthly/weekly sprints which include key Analytics items apart from the daily requests.
Be updated with the latest analysis practices, tools, and technologies that can be applied in solving the company's various problem statements.
Will have the ownership of the entire thirdparty Analytics stack and be responsible for smooth functioning of those products (BI Tools, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, WebEngage, Firebase, Marketing Partner Attribution Tool, Ads Tools, etc)

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in Analytics and 2+ years of experience in building/leading a team (> 3 people)
Strong educational background is preferred (Graduate from IITs, NITs, BITS)

Excellent communication skills

Is able to set the context clearly before diving into the problem/solution Is an initiative taker
Has had experience in setting up/ growing Analytics Department in the previous job position.
Has had a rich exposure in working on a variety of problem statements in departments ranging from marketing, CRM/sales, product, tech, CEO's office.
Mandatory Intermediate tech knowledge (handson experience not required) on various aspects: frontend, backend, APIs, android, crons, databases.
Expert in SQL, MongoDB query language, and a data visualization dashboard tool Exposure to Python or R for more advanced statistical analysis
Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL development and tools (Airflow or similar, GCP/AWS, etc).
Has had handson experience in working with Big Data.
Is comfortable collaborating closely with team members at all levels and being accountable for highpriority projects.
