    Job Description :

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud services, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices.

    As an AWS DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, provisioning and managing AWS infrastructure, and ensuring the scalability, security, and reliability of our cloud-based systems.


    In addition to the core requirements for the DevOps Engineer role, having knowledge of telecom 5G packet core technologies would be considered beneficial for this position.

    The telecom industry is rapidly evolving with the introduction of 5G networks, and understanding 5G packet core concepts can enhance your ability to support and optimize cloud infrastructure for telecommunications :


    • Collaborate with Telecom engineering teams to integrate and optimize 5G packet core components within the cloud infrastructure.
    • Support the deployment and scaling of virtualized network functions (VNFs) for 5G packet core elements such as the User Plane Function (UPF), Session Management Function (SMF), and Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF).
    • Monitor end to end system end points and ability to solve observed issues and problems.
    • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS Developer Tools to streamline the deployment and lifecycle management of 5G packet core services.
    • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible.
    • Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of 5G packet core infrastructure components in a cloudnative environment.
    • Manage and monitor the AWS infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, RDS databases, ECS clusters, and VPCs, utilizing monitoring and logging tools such as Amazon CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail, and Amazon Inspector to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.
    • Enhance application performance and reliability by implementing AWS services such as EC2 Auto Scaling, Elastic Load Balancers (ELBs), Network Load Balancers (NLBs), Amazon CloudFront, RDS Read Replicas, and ElastiCache.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues related to 5G packet core elements, including latency optimization and packet processing efficiency.
    Requirements :


    • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, or related field.
    years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

    • Proficiency in configuring and managing EC2 instances, S3 buckets, RDS databases, ECS clusters, IAM users and roles, and VPC networking components.
    • Experience with AWS CloudFormation templates, Terraform configuration files, and Ansible playbooks to define infrastructure components, manage dependencies, deploy and maintain cloud resources across multicloud environments.
    • Familiarity in SDN, NFV architecture of 5G Core network, LTE Core network and CUPS framework of Packet Core NW architecture.
    • Proficiency in Docker containerization technology and Kubernetes orchestration platform to containerize applications, manage container lifecycles, automate deployment, scaling, and management of containerized workloads.
    • Experience with AWS Developer Tools including CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy, as well as CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD, to design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automate build, test, and deployment tasks, and ensure continuous integration and delivery of software updates with efficiency and reliability.
    • Handson experience with AWS services for automatic scaling, load balancing, and caching, including EC2 Auto Scaling, ELBs, NLBs, CloudFront, RDS Read Replicas, and ElastiCache, to ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and lowlatency access to resources.
    • Proficiency in AWS security services such as IAM, GuardDuty, WAF, KMS, and ACM to design, implement, and enforce security policies.
    • Proficiency in monitoring and alerting tools such as Amazon CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrial, Prometheus and Grafana.
    • Proficiency in one of the scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
    • Strong understanding of telecommunications principles and protocols, including IP networking, TCP/IP, UDP, and SCTP.
    • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    Nice to Have :

    • AWS certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
    • Professional or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
    • Associate.
    • Familiarity with 3GPP standards and specifications for 5G packet core architecture and protocols.
    • Knowledge of softwaredefined networking (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV) concepts.
