Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, Marketing Technology and Channel Operations Lead
Genpact is seeking a Marketing Technology and Channel Operations leader who will work in partnership with the Marketing Operations team.The Marketing Technology and Channel Operations lead will serve as a liaison between IT, marketing operations, brand/channel strategy and support an end-to-end integrated Marketing stack.As the Marketing Technology and Channel Operations lead you will own our technology strategy and implementation for the Marketing function as well as be responsible for the implementation and operation of our digital channels.
The candidate will also be responsible for supporting the implementation of new technology - this assumes management, training, new technology rollouts, troubleshooting, administration and change management. The marketing technology manager will function as the lead in the automation of processes and help orchestrate development of solutions with the marketing operations and growth operations teams.
The successful candidate must have technical depth and a passion for Marketing – as well as a track record of willingness and ability to work collaboratively and effectively across departments and boundaries to deliver on project objectives.The ability to manage multiple tasks and project simultaneously, own deliverables end-to-end, and prioritize workload effectively are all key to success in this role.
Responsibilities
·Own the creation and implementation of the Marketing Technology strategy.
·Own the delivery of all digital marketing channels, including web, social media, paid media and outbound. This will include managing a team to execute communications, campaigns and BAU updates across these channels, in addition to managing channel specific compliance, security and data privacy etc. This role will work in partnership with our Head of Channel Strategy who will outline the vision of how these channels will underpin our brand and marketing strategy.
·Develops and maintains strong partnerships with Brand, marketing operations, IT, and vendors to ensure coordinated implementation and deployments.
·Partner closely with peers and leaders to support implementation of major business initiatives across the company
·Understand best practice marketing processes and regulation and align technology solutions to optimize those processes across the business
·Help select and provide comparisons for marketing technology solutions (at times to support core system integrations)
·Serve as the ongoing business owner for data, applications, and systems that support Marketing
·Ongoing analytics delivery to provide insights for better decision making
·Ensure Marketing products and channels meet security and legal requirements
·Take the Marketing lead for any audits that require Marketing inputs
·Lead proof of concept efforts to quickly test and validate new solutions in Marketing
·Construct key marketing reporting mechanisms, including dashboards and reports.
·Keep current with the latest technologies and advise on their implications for the organization
·Interacts with technology to ensure the successful implementation of business intent
·Analyzes new business requirements, determines current performance, and builds and manages detailed project plans to implement improvements and/or corrective actions
·Partners in the development of training and adoption materials to support initiatives
·Define and implement best practice operational playbooks/frameworks/automations to support an omni-channel martech ecosystem
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
·Degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or related field or equivalent experience (preferably degree in both computer science and Marketing)
·Experience with implementing multi-channel marketing automation stack
·Relevant experience managing end to end marketing stack
·Relevant experience integrating marketing technology with enterprise applications
·Relevant years system configuration and administration experience
·Deadline-driven, with the ability to self-manage multiple projects and deadlines
·Exceptional organizational skills and a strong attention to detail
·Ability to use creative thinking to identify and solve problems
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
·Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively between different disciplines (development, creative, marketing, admissions, etc.) and personality types
