Overview:

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, SEO, and social media within the exciting field of technology news journalism.

As a member of our team, we offer a supportive environment, fostering learning and growth under the mentorship of our Senior Social Media Manager and the broader marketing team.

Responsiblities:

SEO Optimisation:

Conduct keyword research and analysis to enhance our content's search visibility.
Implement onpage and offpage SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings.
Stay updated on SEO trends and algorithm changes to ensure optimal performance.

Social Media Management:

Work closely with the Senior Social Media Manager to assist in creating and curating engaging content for our social media platforms.
Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, and engage with our audience.
Monthly social media analytics and reporting.

Administrative Tasks:

Assist with general administrative duties as needed, including data entry and website content uploads.
Provide support in coordinating marketing events and initiatives.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

Completed a degree in digital marketing, communications, or a related field.
Strong interest and understanding of SEO principles and social media trends.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic administrative tasks.

Skills:

Proficient in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Outgoing personality with a willingness to contribute new ideas.
Short course certifications in SEO or social media will be advantageous.
