Description

• Perform installation, configuration, and upgrading of Oracle database software and related products.
• Manage and maintain the Oracle database environment, including backup and recovery operations.
• Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance tuning and database connectivity problems.
• Implement and maintain database security, including user management, access controls, and data encryption.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database schemas, tables, and stored procedures.
• Conduct regular database health checks, capacity planning, and proactive maintenance activities.
• Monitor database growth and plan for database expansion to meet future business requirements.
• Document database procedures, guidelines, and best practices for reference and knowledge sharing.
• Stay up to date with the latest Oracle database technologies, tools, and industry trends.
• Provide oncall support and participate in the 24/7 shift rotation schedule.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 35 years of handson experience as an Oracle DBA, preferably at an L2 level.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Oracle Database versions 11g, 12c, and 19c.
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting languages.
• Familiarity with database monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Understanding of backup and recovery strategies, including RMAN.
• Knowledge of Oracle Data Guard, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) is a plus.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 shift operations setup on a rotation basis.
