Vedanta's Bauxite and Coal mines vertical will play a crucial role in this endeavour, being strategically poised to be the largest value creators for the aluminium business.

To partner with us in this exciting journey and unlock new values for the business, we are looking for passionate professionals in the position of Project Head - Sijimali Bauxite Mine. This role will be crucial for commencing new mine to achieve the vision.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• In this leadership role, the incumbent will be responsible for project planning, implementing strategy and commencement of bauxite mine operations.
• Forest, Environment clearances for Bauxite block, Land acquisition, Land R&R, Infrastructure development and Resource mobilization are also part of this role's key deliveries.
• The Incumbent will also be responsible for on-boarding business partners including MDO, stakeholders' engagement, compliance of statutory guidelines ensuring SHES (safety, health, environment, sustainability).
• Post commencement of mines' operations, the role will be responsible for smooth operation of this bauxite mine as per rate capacity with state-of-art bauxite mining practices including ESG and Digitalization.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• B.E/B.Tech with a proven track record
• 15+ years of relevant experience
• Have demonstrated leadership in mining approvals, commencement and mining operations.
• Strong understanding of statutory clearances and relevant Acts, regulations & Government guidelines.
