Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Banquet Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and deliver exceptional dining experiences for our banquet and event guests.

The Banquet Executive Chef will oversee all aspects of culinary operations for our banquet department, including menu planning, food preparation, quality control, and team management.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop innovative and creative menus for banquets, weddings, conferences, and other special events, ensuring a high standard of culinary excellence.
  • Collaborate with event planners and clients to create customized menus that meet their specific preferences and dietary requirements.
  • Manage food costing and budgeting for banquet events, ensuring profitability while maintaining highquality standards.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion sizes, and food safety standards.
  • Lead by example in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies and ingredients as needed to support banquet operations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques, ingredients, and culinary trends into banquet menus.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and sanitation standards.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as catering, sales, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of events.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Banquet Chef in a highvolume banquet or catering operation.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized culinary school.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Creative flair and passion for food and hospitality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of current culinary trends and techniques.
  • Familiarity with food costing, budgeting, and inventory management.
  • Certification in food safety and sanitation preferred.
