Job Summary:


The Accounts and Finance Executive will play a crucial role in supporting the CFO with a broad spectrum of financial and accounting tasks.

This includes ensuring compliance with direct and indirect taxation, assisting with tax audits, and managing challan deposits. The individual will be a key player in maintaining financial health and ensuring compliance across the organisation.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist the CFO in overseeing direct and indirect tax compliance, including Goods and Services Tax (GST), Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), Employees' Provident Fund (EPF), and Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC).
  • Prepare and reconcile monthly GST returns (R-1, 2B RECO, and challan) and ensure timely submission.
  • Conduct TDS audits, manage challan deposits, and file TDS returns.
  • Maintain accurate EPF and ESIC data and ensure timely payment and filing.
  • Prepare stock statements for bank submissions and oversee bank-related compliance.
  • Manage project compliance, including RA billing and other related financial reporting.
  • Work with the CFO to ensure accurate and timely filing of GST R-1/9/3B and 2B RECO & challan.
  • Input financial summary data and manage entries in financial systems.
  • Liaise with auditors and participate in monthly and year-end finance closing processes.
  • Engage in the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, reporting variances as necessary.
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
  • Manage cash transactions, treasury management, and monitor company cash flow.

Additional Responsibilities:


  • Support in the preparation of audit handling concerning taxation and statutory compliance.
  • Value inventory and manage stock.
  • Coordinate with different divisions to maintain suspense entries and ensure the integrity of financial records.
  • Collaborate effectively with other teams, providing financial insights and reports that contribute to strategic decisionmaking.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in accounting and finance, preferably within the automotive or Wooden industry.
  • Indepth understanding of direct and indirect tax laws and compliance.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, including SAP, Tally ERP, and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Detailoriented with an aptitude for problemsolving.
