    Job Overview

    Enterprise Solution Architect with 9 to 11 years of experience who would display the architectural vision and secure complex system designs of Palantir's engineering and business solutions.

    They should set the strategic direction for customer business problems by participating in technical outreach and must guide deployment teams to execute securely in customer technical environments, design sustainable solution architectures, and act as a thought partner aligned to necessary government regulations.

    They would be an advisor to our product development teams to ensure their solutions comply with current and future requirements and can operate in heterogeneous deployment environments with deep investigation on Palantir and other third-party software components to integrate into a complete solution that meets both end user needs and stringent information security requirements.

    Success in this role requires becoming technically proficient in Palantir's products, understanding our customers' governance processes and security obligations, and demonstrating how we'll comply with them through product demonstrations, presentations, and documents.

    You'll operate independently but with a team-first mindset as you partner with our product development teams and deployment teams to design and shape holistic solutions in complex technical environments.

    Design and architect technical solutions to complex problems, with consideration for security, networking, availability, resourcing, and time constraints.
    Engage directly with customers as a credible expert on the architecture and security of Palantir's offerings.

    Advise and shape product roadmaps for development teams to ensure Palantir complies with existing requirements and stays ahead of emerging trends.

    Establish efficient solutions analysing data assets and utilizing architectural knowledge of all types of Palantir components considering Data Science, Engineering, Analytics, Application Development, Integration domains and expertise standpoint.

    Document and diagram solutions and architectures clearly.
    Detailed Responsibilities
    Development and support of data pipelines that produce data assets for various workstreams.
    Handle data pipelines while testing for data curation, parsing, cleaning, transformation, and enrichment of data.
    Work with fundamentals of data processing, data pipeline, data lineage and ETL-ELT methodologies with both OLAP & OLTP usecases.

    Implement the project according to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and programming by using fast paced agile methodology, involving task completion, user stories.

    Utilize knowledge of database management system software, object-oriented programming development, system architecture and components and various programming languages.
    Review and analyse business workflows and user data needs.
    Design and implement business performance dashboards.
    Write customized queries/programs to generate automatic periodical reports highlighting all the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
    Build applications using SQL and/or Python scripts to manipulate data, monitor and help to improve data quality.
    Design, build and maintain end-to-end data solutions supporting our processes with the right data architecture.
    Have working knowledge of Apache Spark, big data processing and building products on distributed cluster-computing framework.
    Construct workflow charts and diagrams and writing specifications.
    Documentation of end-to-end data pipeline process and data assets for information management purposes.
    Exploration and evaluation of new technologies and platforms with Ad hoc team / business support as needed.
    Test, Build, Deploy the solution assets based on functional, integration, unit and automation requirements.
    Good To Have

    Deep understanding of the fundamental building blocks of public cloud solutions (, Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google GCP) and how they fit together.

    Knowledge of large-scale production software systems and the technologies that enable them - for example, distributed systems, load balancing and scaling, monitoring, identity and access management, configuration-as-code.

    Experience with information security fundamentals and core technologies (, encryption, firewalls, SIEM/SOAR, intrusion detection, audit logs).
    Understanding of the modern software development lifecycle, including design, development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery/deployment.

    Basic familiarity with fundamental networking protocols (IP, TCP, UDP, TLS, DNS, SSH, HTTPS, etc.) and operating system concepts (processes, filesystems, kernel vs user space, etc.).

    Eagerness to solve open-ended technical problems with significant autonomy.
    Strong client interaction skills with rigorous technical aptitude and understanding.
    Experience with the US government's security authorization process (the Risk Management Framework) is a plus.
    Experience working in a classified environment is a plus.
    Highly organized, detail-oriented, analytical with strong time-management and efficient communication skills.
    Ability to work independently and collaborate well with others to affect smooth organizational transformations.
