Job description:
Gearbox Assembly & Disassembly

Experience:
>3-4 years worked in Core area

Tehnical knowledge & Communication

a. Basic of Gearbox
- b. Identify the gearbox parts & function of the parts
- c. Gearbox Assembly & disassembly process (basics)
- d. Technically good to operate the protoshop machines(Press M/C, Leak test M/C, EOL Check, etc.)
- e. Identify Gearbox noise & understand the noise level.
- f. Basic knowledge about GD&T
- g. Technically good to operate basic instruments(Vernier,Micrometer, height gauge,etc.)
- h. Good communication in english & technically strong
- i. Quick learner & proactive

Tasks planned

  • 1. Parts collection from store as per Configuration files
  • 2. Check the targeted parts & remaining parts as per configuration files
  • 3. Highlight to superior if any mismatch with Configuration
  • 4. Clean & arrange the parts as per assembly process flow
  • 5. Shaft assembly as per procedure & fill the check sheet
  • 6. Differential assembly as per procedure & fill the check sheet
  • 7. Housing child part assembly as per procedure & fill the check sheet
  • 8. Do the Main assembly as per procedure & fill the check sheet
  • 9. Shim selection process & fill the check sheet
  • 10. Leak test check & fill the check sheet
  • 11. Visual check the gearbox & fill the check sheet
  • 12. EOL check in Motoring bench & fill the check sheet
  • 13. External accessories assy ( Chiping plug, shifter stoper, etc.)
  • 14. Deliver the gearbox to respective team
  • 15. Post validation completion, teardown gearbox & analysis.
  • 16. Clean each parts & photography
  • 17. Dismount gearbox from Vehicle as per procedure
  • 18. Mount the fresh gearbox in vehicle
  • 19. Proper check after gearbox mount in vehicle as per checksheet
  • 20. Handover the vehicle to respective team for validation
